Maria officially joined the TEN Capital team in June 2025 after working here part-time for a year. Maria knew she wanted a career where she could help people, and she discovered a way she could pursue this passion through financial planning.
Maria began her career in the financial industry as a Mortgage Loan Originator in Florida in 2020, which kindled a deeper interest in finance and led her to pursue a degree at Whitworth University. During her time there, Maria joined the Whitworth Student Investment Club (WSIG) where she dove into stock valuation and pitching investments. Through WSIG she had the opportunity to attend economic forums and compete in Quinnipiac's Global Asset Management Education Forum and the local CFA Institute Research Challenge, where she led her university to 2nd place titles. Through these experiences, Maria has been able to sharpen her gifts for methodical thinking and teamwork, and she is excited to use these skills to serve others at TEN Capital.
Maria grew up in the state of Florida where she graduated summa cum laude from The Geneva School – one of the most rigorous private schools in the nation. Soon after, she earned her B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Whitworth University. In her free-time, Maria loves to sing, play music with her dad, and spend time with her family.
