Maddy specializes in working with individuals and families to identify and set meaningful goals, crafting personalized financial plans tailored to their purpose, and providing ongoing support throughout every stage of their financial journey.
Together with Amy Jo Van Lierop, Maddy is helping lead our Women’s event series “Fika & Finance.” The focused is on creating a safe space for women of all financial experiences and backgrounds to connect with like-minded women, and to grow and build confidence in all aspects of their financial lives. The concept combines the Swedish tradition of “fika” - a casual coffee break meant for slowing down, connecting, and, sharing meaningful moments together, with financial education.
Maddy graduated magna cum laude with distinction from California State University, Monterey Bay in 2018, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics while competing on the collegiate volleyball team.
She began her career as a high school math teacher at a private boarding school in Pebble Beach, CA. In 2020 when the Pandemic hit and students were sent home, she had time to find her true passion in finance as she began planning and investing for her own family. Since then, she has worked on sharing her knowledge and resources with those around her to help others identify and achieve their financial goals.
Born and raised in Spokane, Maddy’s love for this community brought her back to the area after college to plant roots and grow her family. Together, she and her husband, Anton, have a toddler named Svea. As a family, they spend as much time on the golf course as they can. They also enjoy playing volleyball, pickleball, kubb, going hiking, and many other outdoor activities.
