Senior Financial Advisor
Kurt is the Senior Investment Advisor at Ten Capital. His experience and knowledge are paramount to the success of this company and his passion for the business is as true now as it was when he first started in the industry as a broker. He believes strongly in creating financial independence for clients and teaching them to be investors, not just savers.
Kurt is a graduate of Washington State University with a degree in Political Science/Pre-Law. He got his start in the financial services industry with Dean Witter & Co. in1968. He joined the Old National Bank of Washington in the trust department in 1971 and in 1973 became their Trust Investment Officer. He moved to Richards, Merrill and Peterson in 1975 as a junior partner of Dick Larson. He was named Executive Vice President in 1977 and spent 37 years, developing strong community and client relationships with Richards, Merrill & Peterson, before joining Ten Capital in January 2013.
Kurt has been, and continues to be a very active in civic affairs in Spokane. He has held positions on the boards of numerous organizations and foundations including: past president of the Spokane Club, the Spokane Club foundation, the Holy Family Hospital foundation, the Eastern Washington University foundation, and the Whitworth College scholarship fund drive.Contact Kurt if you have questions about:
